Tempest DSLR

Give your camera equipment the carrying equipment it deserves. Patent Pending 2zF (62/174,648 | 511716222) construction, Firesign Brand’s Tempest DSLR Camera Bag is an industry first and won’t be our last. Patent Pending 2zF construction allows us to construct a bona fide 75 meter, fully submersible, professional quality bag that is both water, and dust-proof. The Patent Pending 2zF construction allows us to design packs, bags and equipment that are as highly capable inside, as they are good-looking outside.

On the inside you can customize your carrying space using our Vm2 Velcro modular internal storage system. Choose from a variety of pouches and sleeves to organize your kit exactly the way you want it. Remove the Tfit Back Pack Strap System, attach the side load carrying handle and you have a more streamline case-type carrying option.

Protect one Pro body (2x Pro-sumer bodies), two to three lenses, and a 70-200 f/2.8 lens. For the Rangerfinder and Mirrorless crowd, the Tempest DSLR rules the elements.

MOLLE webbing on the front and side panels allow for accessorizing our bags with a large array of secure, modular accessories. Also the MOLLE Tripod Sling, Squall Dry Pouch, and MOLLE Water Bottle Holders.

MOLLE

MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment. It is used to define the current generation of load-bearing equipment and backpacks utilized by a number of NATO armed forces, especially the British Army and the United States Army. The system's modularity is derived from the use of PALS webbing as rows of heavy-duty nylon stitched onto the bag to allow for the attachment of various MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories. This method of attachment has become a de factoem> standard for modular tactical gear, replacing the ALICE system used in the earliest modular vest systems (which is still in use with many police forces).
The MOLLE system was introduced in 1997. However, it did not see widespread issue until after the September 11, 2001, attacks and was used by U.S. troops serving in Afghanistan and, later, Iraq.

Volumetric Measuring Balls

In accordance with ASTM International F2153 measuring standards we use very accurate 20mm HDPE volumetric measuring balls to measure the carrying capacity of our products. 4650 20mm balls = 1ft3 , there are 1728 in3 per ft3, or a ratio of 2.6909 balls per cubic inch or 0.0164 liters. Each of our pockets are carefully measured for accuracy.

This is a bulletproof bag. It really IS completely waterproof too. I just returned from shooting a sailboat race and water sports boat trip through French Polynesia, and this bag withstood full submersion, rough handling, even pissy airline staff! If you want to keep 30k worth of camera gear safe, I'd say this is a good way to start.
