The Waterman DUFLF315DWA
The Waterman DUFLF315DWA
Great looks, and highly capable. If you ever find yourself and your gear (as we have) traveling by boat, left out on the tarmac stranded in monsoonal rain, alpine back country, or packing it across the desert, you can travel with confidence. Patent Pending 2zF (62/174,648 | 511716222) construction, Firesign Brand’s Waterman Duffel Bag is an industry first and won’t be our last. Patent Pending 2zF construction allows us to construct a bona fide, fully submersible to 75ft, professional quality bag that is both water, and dust proof. The 2zF construction allows us to design packs, bags, and equipment that are as highly capable inside as they are great-looking outside.
At almost 40 liters, the Waterman Duffel lets you travel to the far reaches with total confidence.
MOLLE webbing on the front side panel allows for accessorizing your bags with a large array of secure, modular accessories. Also the MOLLE Dry Pouch, Water Bottle Holders, and a wide array of other exterior MOLLE accessories are available to customize your equipment.
As with almost all Firesign Brand equipment, this bag is equipped with Monkey Shackles. Monkey Shackles are our own zip puller /lock system designed to keep sticky fingers, and otherwise unsavory peeps (or animals) out of your junk. Especially in tight, crowded spaces like subways, concerts, and campuses where it’s too easy to have stuff “pinched” out of your bag while making your way through the jungle. Monkey Shackles are also TSA compliant, and silent so if you’re trying to be discrete, no problem. What you probably didn’t know, however, is that Monkey Shackle zipper pullers are made of UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and are highly cut resistant and when removed and used as a link, can hold 650Lbs or 300KG’s of weight (tested to 1100Lbs ). So if you ever need to secure something, or hell, tow your boat, we have a solution in every bag.
Monkey Shackle Challenge: we want to hear about all the amazing ways your Monkey Shackle saves the day and every 6 months we are going to give one lucky winner something very special!

MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment. It is used to define the current generation of load-bearing equipment and backpacks utilized by a number of NATO armed forces, especially the British Army and the United States Army. The system's modularity is derived from the use of PALS webbing as rows of heavy-duty nylon stitched onto the bag to allow for the attachment of various MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories. This method of attachment has become a de factoem> standard for modular tactical gear, replacing the ALICE system used in the earliest modular vest systems (which is still in use with many police forces).
The MOLLE system was introduced in 1997. However, it did not see widespread issue until after the September 11, 2001, attacks and was used by U.S. troops serving in Afghanistan and, later, Iraq.
In accordance with ASTM International F2153 measuring standards we use very accurate 20mm HDPE volumetric measuring balls to measure the carrying capacity of our products. 4650 20mm balls = 1ft3 , there are 1728 in3 per ft3, or a ratio of 2.6909 balls per cubic inch or 0.0164 liters. Each of our pockets are carefully measured for accuracy.
